Do you really believe that anything is possible? Are you willing to let your imagination guide you to things you’ve never even considered before? Are you willing to do it without FEAR? For many of us, for most of our lives, we have been conditioned to stay in the lines. Sometimes, that makes creating outside of the lines a more challenging endeavor. It doesn’t have to be if you keep the principles of the law of attraction in mind. All you have to do is decide what you want and allow... [Read The Full Article]
Your Own Worst Enemy

I’ve always hated that expression – “You are your own worst enemy.” I think Calvin and Hobbs or someone like that said “We have met the enemy and it is us.” However you say it, the message is that you don’t need to look any further than the mirror to see why things aren’t going the way you want them to go. The great news is that it’s nothing to beat yourself up about. The really great news is that YOU CAN CHANGE IT! If you resonate with this... [Read The Full Article]
After a Long Winter’s Nap…

Has anyone else noticed this? I feel in many ways like I’ve been on a Universe-imposed internal retreat. The things that are happening in my life right now are stirring up old memories and letting me know where there are things I still need to let go of. Yes, this is definitely a time of letting go. Here in North Carolina, we’ve had the opportunity to experience weather conditions we haven’t had in a while. They’ve reminded me of the amount of energy I put into things... [Read The Full Article]

Whew! It’s hard to believe that it’s already the second week of 2010!! Things have been moving along in an amazing way. If you haven’t gotten your clutter cleared, get on that job right away, because it’s weighing you down in a way that you definitely don’t need. What’s keeping you from doing it? My guess is that at least a part of it is that your impression of who you are is far from the truth about who you really are and what you are capable of. If you’re... [Read The Full Article]
A Whole New World

I spent the weekend at a workshop that opened a new door for me with regard to changing what I believe is possible. It’s really so funny how we make assumptions that don’t have to be true. What I learned was that even though I am open to shifting my beliefs and limitations, and I do it on a regular basis, I am still living in a box of sorts. The key to the weekend was pretending. Remember when you were a child and you could pretend anything? You didn’t have all of the restrictions... [Read The Full Article]

This time of year always gives us the opportunity to review what we’ve done and to decide what we’d like to do in the coming year. It’s definitely a time for reflection, if you’d like it to be. Pausing to take a stock of your life and to plan for next year might be a higher choice than getting caught up in the tension and drama of the holidays. I’m not saying don’t get involved in the holidays – really. There are some things about the holidays that are... [Read The Full Article]
Honoring Another’s Path

This has been a huge year for me with regard to honoring the paths that others have chosen to take. I like to think of myself as being completely supportive and honoring of whatever someone else chooses to do. Some things that have come to light over the year have made me realize that I’ve been happy to support the path as long as it’s what I think they should do, when I think it should be done, and in the manner in which I think it should be done. Are you kidding me? That sounds a... [Read The Full Article]

Thanksgiving has now passed. Did you give thanks for everything that has happened in your life, regardless of whether you perceived it to be “good” or “bad”? If not, that’s ok. The more we “get” that everything that happens makes us what we are, the more we are able to appreciate everything that happens. We always have the opportunity to shift the energy we’re putting out, which allows us to shift what we’re seeing and experiencing in life.... [Read The Full Article]

A lot of people seem to be stressed out about the fact that they are not clear on exactly what their purpose is. Relax. It’s ok to not have a purpose statement. Not having a nicely crafted purpose doesn’t have to put your life on hold unless you want it to. If you’re looking for an excuse to wait until later to live your best life, not being aware of your purpose would be a could stalling tactic. While you’re doing whatever you need to do (living your life) as your purpose... [Read The Full Article]
Learnings from a College Football Game

I went to a college football game yesterday for the first time in several years. I didn’t go because I was so excited to go to football. I’m not a huge fan, although I have been in the past. I went because it was an opportunity to spend some time with my Dad, who was in town for the game. As a result, I got to spend time with my family and some friends for the day. That was a good thing. Because I didn’t have a lot of attachment to the game itself, I decided to take a step... [Read The Full Article]
